Our Seniors group is a small, supportive space where young people build confidence, communication, and creativity through drama.
Every teen has room to grow, express themselves, and develop the skills they need to thrive in school, relationships, and future opportunities — whether or not they pursue drama long-term.

What we focus on

Each term has a theme (such as Screen Acting or Public Speaking), but the core purpose never changes:
helping young people find their voice, build self-esteem, take healthy risks, and develop life skills in a safe, encouraging environment.

Term Themes May Include:

Screen Acting
Learn to express emotions naturally on camera, build confidence speaking on film, and work as a team to create short projects.

Public Speaking & Communication
Develop clear speech, articulation, confidence when presenting, and the ability to communicate with presence — all through drama-based techniques.

Devising Theatre
Work together to create original pieces based on themes that matter to teens today, building leadership, creativity, and collaboration.

Performance Projects
Rehearse and perform in a supportive environment that celebrates progress, effort, and teamwork.

Why families choose us

Unlike larger stage schools, we keep our groups intentionally small so every teen receives:

  • Individual attention and guidance

  • Personal feedback each term

  • A nurturing space where shy students can grow at their own pace

  • Real opportunities to develop communication and confidence

Future Opportunities

We are preparing to offer LAMDA Speech & Drama exams, giving young people the chance to gain recognised communication qualifications alongside their weekly sessions.

My son joined Empower early this year and has really grown in confidence when performing. Before joining there is no way he would've got up on stage to perform in front of a room packed full of strangers. He has really connected with Taja and has enjoyed having her as his teacher. Highly recommended.
